This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made with dyed Quilted Maple with faux ivory and copper.

Medium size, it is suited for 210mm Japanese knife. 

Weight: 58g, Length: 132.6mm (5 3/16")

Handle is sanded to 800 grit and then coated in 5-6 coats of sealer for longer protection.

Care :

• Handwash with soapy water and towel dry.
• Do not put in dishwasher, nor soak in water for long periods of time.
• Oil on a fairly regular basis, or sand with 0000 steel wool and reapply a sealer like tru-oil as needed.
